4 Teeth

Hayes is going to turn 8 months next Wednesday! I can't believe he is growing up so fast. He is still not crawling, but he is giving it a good hard effort. In a few weeks he will be on the go....and then so will Chris & I...LOL! He has 4 teeth coming in all at once and has been doing really well with them. He has three on the bottom and one on the top. We can't imagine him with all these teeth. Seems he went from a toothless grin to 4 teeth over night. I will try to get a picture of that. Today we met Beth and Rylee for lunch and the kids loved each other. They are 11 days apart. The were holding hands and pulling on eachothers clothes. So funny.

Play Date with Baby Ryder

Have not had a chance to write in a while, sorry. Hayes and I went to play with Baby Ryder. For those of you that don't know. Ryder is the son of one of my childhood friends, Jessie. Here are a few pics.

Hayes Meets Santa Claus....

Chris and I took Hayes to go see Santa Claus! We wanted to beat the rush and did not have to wait in line at all. That was nice! Hayes did not know what to think of Santa. He stared at him with a weird look on his face. This Santa was the sweetest thing ever and he started singing, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" to Hayes and they were fast friends. This Santa is at North Point Mall. He sees 125,000 kids a year, which Chris and I figured is great money, even if he only makes $5-$10 a kid. Sweet deal! So Chris is growing out his hair and beard and bleaching it and you can find him in a mall near you next year. Just kidding!!!!! So here is a picture of Hayes with his new friend. We tried to get him to smile, but there was too much going on. Hayes colored this little picture for daddy.

Inch Worm

Well today Hayes learned to do the inch worm. He is going to get rug burn on his face, but he is one step closer to crawling. I put him down on the floor on a blanket and walked away to start the washing machine. I came right back two seconds later and he had turned a complete 180 degrees. Then all of a sudden he would put his face flat on the ground and push his bottom up with his feet and push himself forward like an inch worm. He was not happy though, he basically cried the whole time but kept doing it. Then after a while he actually pulled his knees up under himself.....he is going to be on the move soon. Watch out!!!!
