2010 Holidays

Here are some pictures of the us and the kids from the holiday season. We loved our time spent with friends and family. We had a nice dinner social with our small group, had a nice visit from Peggy and April and went to see the Magical Nights of Lights at Lake Lanier. Hayes really liked that because he got to see them from out the sunroof, thanks to Nana who held him up the whole time.

Dinner at Pampas

We went to dinner as a family when Brian and Michelle were in town. We went to Pampas...one of our favorite restaurants. We had a really nice time seeing them and spending time together. The last time we saw them was 6 months ago and ironically we said our tearful "goodbye" at Pampas. We also took a group "Coke" picture for Chris's work. Hayes really enjoyed pretending to drink his coke...of course I would never actually let him...especially before bed. Kate was there too even though she is not in the pictures.

Christmas 2010- Kate's First Christmas

We celebrated Christmas over at Mimmie & Papaws house. Santa Claus came there to visit the kids and brought LOTS of presents. We had such a nice time and Hayes LOVED opening his gifts. He would say, "Oh Wow" every time in the cutest high pitched voice. Brian, Michelle, Dee and John came up that afternoon for dinner. It was so good to see everyone.

Christmas Eve at The Paulk's

Every year for the past 20 years we have been celebrating Christmas Eve over at our neighbors house, The Paulk's. This year was a little different thought because Brian and Michelle were not there and neither was my dad. A few nights before Christmas, my dad had to be admitted suddenly for an emergency surgery to remove his appendix because it had ruptured. It was quite scary, but we are very thankful that he is ok and that although he did have to spend a few nights in the hospital (Christmas Eve being one of them) he was able to come home Christmas morning. It was sad not having him there and I could think about was him in the hospital on Christmas Eve and how I felt so bad for him. Love you Daddy.

Here are some pictures from our evening. Hayes was thrilled because he received some very nice gifts from the Paulk's and Jackson's. That was so sweet of you all, thank you so much. He got a dancing Snoopy and a reindeer stuffed animal. Hayes danced to Snoopy all night. He loves to dance.

Santa Claus Came To Town

Santa Claus came to Brookwood Lake/Glenmoor this past weekend. What a fabulous idea!!!! I found this experience to be the most amazing Santa experience ever. We showed up at our designated time slot and went right in to see Santa. You can't get better than Santa pics in your own neighborhood. No mall....no line...no money involved. Especially because we have a 19 month old and a newborn. We got to sit and talk with him as long as we wanted and take as many pics too. Here are some pictures. Kate's first time to see Santa and Hayes' second. Most kids his age are scared, but not Hayes. He loved him.

Fist Pump...Hayes Says, "Boom"
