Easter Bunny Blues!

Took Hayes to see the Easter Bunny at North Point Mall. He HATED it. I think it runs in the Airhart side of the family because my nephew, Tucker, is terrified of all dressed up characters. LOL! So here are the pics. At first he was definitely unsure, but once I put him in his lap and walked away for them to take the pic, he SCREAMED!

Happy Easter from Hayes!

Rubber Ducky, You're the One! You Make Bathtime So Much Fun!

Somebody LOVES bath time. Here are some pics of Hayes in the bathtub. I couldn't pass up on taking some snap shots of his little booty! Hope that is not inappropriate to post...LOL! Love it! Also, while waiting for the bath to fill up, daddy taught Hayes to play the drums on the toilet seat!

Some Bunny Loves You!

Happy Easter Everyone, Love Hayes

Hayes went to have his pictures made with a real baby bunny. HE LOVED IT! The little bunny was named Dasiy and is 7 weeks old. He was so excited that he almost scooped her up in his arms and sqeezed her half to death. We really had to watch him so he would be gentle. This was a once in a lifetime thing that I just could not pass up. They had this at the store I used to work at and last year when I was really prego...I thought this was so cute, I couldn't stand it. The photographer, John Morgan, was so sweet and he cut me a deal. Yay!

Miles Samuel! "Moo Moo"

Our Last Day Together! March 14, 2010

We as most of you know from all my facebook posts, my sweet Miles left yesterday to live with a new family in Chattanooga, TN. (Anita & Mike) I have had good moments and bad, but overall, its been pretty emotional. So hard to loose two cats in a week. It was very hard for me to let go of him. He was part of my family for 8 years and I loved that cat soooooo much. I loved all my kitties, but this little guy just had my heart from the beginning. Maybe because of all his funny quirks, he was so rebellious in the beginning, so persistent and at times VERY annoying! He also was extremely fun to play with! All of that said, he had the most loving and sweet side EVER and I am pretty much the only person that has ever had the luck of experiencing it and probably the only one that ever will. It took me a long time to get him to like to be loved on. I really hope that he warms up to his new family too though. They have a 16 year old daughter that wants him to sleep with her, so he will really like that and they will become fast friends.
Here are a couple memories I would like to jot down about Miles:
His utter (LOL-how it swung back and forth when he walked/ran), the way he hated his tummy rubbed and near his tail...Sometimes I did it on purpose to aggravate him bc he would try to bite me in a playful way and attach himself to the sleeve of my shirt and then run away as fast as he could, the worst smelling poops on the face of the planet, how he would always talk to me, his love of the rabbit fur mice (when Louie did not find them first and eat them), the way he would always come visit me on the couch or in bed and all I had to do was pat my hand on my chest and he would jump up and sit on me and purr, his love of water and drinking out of the faucet, my mom always being a sucker and letting him have water from the faucet and she could never fool me because he would go running into the bathroom and yelp until someone would give him more, he loved to rub heads and HE LOVED HIS EARS TO BE PET, I always kissed him behind the ears-that is where he was the softest, and we can't forget when he would try his hardest to get me out of the bed on the weekends....scratching on the wicker furniture or jumping on the door trying to open it if he was locked out. He always wanted to be everywhere that I was, he always kept me company. Everyone always said that he was a huge cat (17lbs), but I never really noticed....I loved him unconditionally. That is why I have had to do this and had to make such a hard move. My cousin Kelli made me feel better: "She said, "You have done a noble thing. Nobody said that being noble was easy and that is why some many people aren't". I keep telling myself that this was what was best for him and that he couldn't live in the laundry room forever. Especially all alone, now that Maddie has moved away too. I would pass through the laundry room on the way to the garage and see him sitting all alone in a basket with just his ears poking out (those big ears)....that was no life for him and I know that. I will miss you my Moo Moo.....and I will love you forever.

The Paci-King

So, lately Hayes has become REALLY into the paci. He wants to have it all the time. I try to usually only let him have one during nap, bedtime or in the car. We have to make sure that there is only one paci in the bed when we put him down to sleep because he will sit there for an hour taking one paci out and putting the other one in and then switch, It is so funny. He can't decide which one he likes more and they are the exact same. I confused him today and gave him three different ones and he kept playing switch-a-roo for like 15 minutes straight.
