On The Loose....Feeling So Wild and Free!

So Hayes is into EVERYTHING these days. You take him away from one thing and he is on to the other. It is amazing what he spots from across the room and then goes on a mission to get there. His favorite No-Nos are my hair dryer, Louie's water bowl, climbing on the dishwasher door, the tray on the coffee table....and pretty much everything else. He pulls up on everything too and he is really good at it. He can cruise to the next item, bend down and pick something up & take something off of a table and sit down to play with it too. He does take some falls as well, but thats all part of it. Lately, if he falls, he looks to see if I saw him or not. If I did, he starts crying really loud and if I didn't, he might throw out a whimper, but then he shakes it off. Too funny! Here are some pics of him getting into things. Play Group 2/16/10

We started a play group on Tuesdays with some friends in the area. So far, the regular mommy attenders are Me, Jessica, Christy, Brooke & Tinika. We all have boys. We are hoping to have some new mommies come....Jessie, Stefanie, Tiffany, Jennifer and Stephanie. Anyone is welcome. We meet Tuesdays at 11am. These are some pics from this past week. It was Brooke, Christy & I: so the boys are Hayes, Collin (Brooke Hardy), Ryan & Conner (Christy Campbell). The boys played well together. The big boys brought all their Hot Wheels and Hayes could not keep his hands off of them. He also fell in love with a new little friend called Sophie (the giraffe). He really wants one of his own, considering he had to borrow Connors for a few days, but his daddy said, "No" bc Sophie is $15 plus shipping". Boo Hoo!

Playdate @ The Crutchfields

Hayes & I spent some time over at the Crutchfield's today for a play date with Ansley and James. James is 4 months older than Hayes, so soon they will be able to play together a lot. Christine, their mommy, is a friend of mine since middle school. Hayes discovered that he LOVES big kid toys instead of his toys. Everything is still going in the mouth though. EVERYTHING! Ansley proceeded to tell her mommy that I needed to come back over there to get James and leave Hayes for her. LOL! Kids are too cute.

Snow-Lanta

We got some snow here in Atlanta this week. Hayes went out to enjoy himself and experience the snow. We did not get as much snow as our family in DC, but we'll take it.

Super Bowl Sunday

We spent Super Bowl Sunday at our friends The Glaze's house. It was a fun time. Pizza, Wings and Cherry Coke. Aaaaahhhhh! Yum! Don't forget the Bleu Cheese people! Jess had all my favorites waiting for me so I did not have to bring my own. LOL! Hayes played with Braxton and met a new friend named Hoyt. Fun time had by all. Especially Hayes, he discovered the Little Tikes car and loved mommy pushing him all over the house in it. Don't worry, Hayes was not successful trying to drink Daddy's beer.
