Chris and I decided to make the Saturday during Memorial Day weekend a "Family Fun Day!" We like to do that sometimes. So we took Hayes and Kate to the Yellow River Game Ranch in Lilburn, GA. Hayes loved all the animals. He fed them carrots, crackers and corn. We saw deer, fox, rams, a cow, peacocks, roosters, chickens, bob cats, buffalo, donkeys, a pony, ducks and all kinds of other animals. He let a little bird bite him on the finger and from then on out, he didn't want to "touch" anything else. He held up his finger and said, "ouch". He was singing the Wiggles song the whole time because he kept hearing the roosters crow and he would do the motions: "quack, quack quack quack, ladda loo." This one donkey kept kicking the gate for some food and Hayes was not too sure about him. Then the cougar had a sign on his cage that said, "Please don't get too close, if I bite you, they kill me." Thought that was kind of scary and sad.....so we stayed away. Here are some pictures of our trip. Even Kate liked it. Then we had a picnic lunch out of the back of our van, haha. It was fun.
