A little late is better than never!!!! I am really behind on blogging these days, so lets catch up. We spent Thanksgiving in Louisiana this year with the Airhart side of the family. We made the 10 hour drive to Lake Charles, LA (Reeves, LA) with Hayes on board. We actually split the trip into two days down and two days back. On the way down we stayed in Hattiesburg, MS and walked around the campus of Southern Miss (where my dad went to school) and then we stayed in Mobile, AL on the way back. Thank you to Chris's points we got both hotels for free and the one in Mobile was so nice, we almost stayed an extra night just because. King size beds are awesome!!!!!!!!! Anyways, so we had tons of fun visiting with the family. It was a busy time though becasue we are running around to see everyone. We celebrated Thanksgiving with Peggy, Chris's mom on Tuesday night, then with the Bruns' on Wednesday night and then at Jennifer's (Chris's Cousin) on Thursday with his dad's side. We even got to visit the new Dollar General in Reeves, which is the ONLY place to shop besides The Front (which is a really small family owned convenient store)....that is how small the town is that Chris is from. This was Hayes's first Thanksgiving, so please enjoy some pics.
